Standard Package

As a Standard Exhibitor, the following are included in your $350 fee.

  • One six-foot table.
  • Two chairs.
  • One stretchable black tablecloth.
  • Lunch for up to two team members (additional lunches will be $10 extra).
  • Exhibitor listing on the website and in the program, which includes company name, headshot, bio, social handles, and contact info.
  • 10% discount on all ad space types in the Resource Home Show program, including color ads.

As a Designer Showcase Exhibitor, the following are included in your $1,000.00 fee.

Furnished Spaces Packages are limited to only five Exhibitors.

  • Unlimited collaboration and partnerships allowed among architects, designers, independent makers, tradespeople, retailers, etc. per space.
  • Share the cost!
  • Signage with your company logo and name.
  • Prime, centrally located space in the main hall and upstairs parlor.
  • Promotional video production featuring your team, produced by our video production team. We will work with you to develop a theme. Yours to use in all your advertising and marketing plans.

Embodying the architecture of the 1920’s and 1930’s, which is characteristic of the New York City bedroom communities of New Jersey, the Woodland perfectly reflects the spirit of appreciation for older homes that is at the essence of the Resource Home Show.

The Swag Bag

The 2019 swag bag included a tool set with pliers, folding pocket knife, nail file, bottle opener and flashlight, as well as surprise promotional goodies from a variety of Exhibitors.

As an Exhibitor, what is the value of participation?

In short, everything that a business wishes to cultivate in order to continue to expand is offered through participation in the Resource Home Show. Imagine an event that offers exposure to and contact with the targeted community of homeowners who continuously ask for referrals for the services you provide and an arena to display your work in a way that will call attention to the value of what you provide. The more compelling your display, the more attention you will garner, the more leads you will obtain, the more business you will acquire, the more your company will grow. Additionally, the Resource Home Show offers a unique and indispensable opportunity to network with other regional businesses, generating potential to form symbiotic partnerships, grow referral relationships and offer the local home-owning consumer more comprehensive services.

Are there different exhibition options?

Yes! You can choose from three options. Click on the tabs above to learn more:

  • Standard Package Exhibitor

If I choose the Furnished Spaces Package, may I collaborate with another company or companies?

Yes, absolutely. We believe that this package lends itself very well to collaboration. In fact, there is no limit on the number of partners per package.

What kinds of displays will other Exhibitors be creating?

The sky is almost the limit! Create a display that captures attention, represents the quality and value of your work and sets you apart from others. The tables are 6 feet long, so the display must not exceed 8 feet by five feet. Displays must be able to be set up within two hours and broken down within one hour. No harmful or toxic substances are allowed, and *there is limited electrical service, which is on a first-come first-serve basis. Otherwise, we encourage you to think out of the box and be innovative!

If I can’t exhibit at the Resource Home Show, can I still advertise in the program?

Absolutely, 100%. Regardless of your participation in the actual show, it is advisable that you take advantage of this valuable opportunity and have a presence in the program.

Will I procure new clients?

While there is no guarantee that you will leave with new clients on the spot, with a compelling display and an engaging spirit it is more likely than not that you will establish valuable relationships with local homeowners who will think of you when they need services and refer you to their friends and family.

Will I get a chance to meet fellow small business owners and network?

Yes! This is one of the great assets of participating. You will be amid a plethora of local talent to potentially forge mutually beneficial business relationships. For instance, contractors and architects, designers and restoration specialists, landscapers and hardscapers, and many more possibilities to align with industry specialists to fortify the services you offer your clients.

Are there electrical outlets?

Not all tables can get electricity. Tables with electricity are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so please let us know asap if you will require electrical service.

Is there Wifi at the Woodland?

There is wifi although the strength of the signal can be inconsistent.

 

Is there designated parking at or near the venue?

The Woodland offers ample onsite parking. There is additional parking around the lovely and walkable village of Maplewood.

Who produces this show?

Lisa Danbrot of LD Homes and Carla Labianca of Inhabit SOMa produce the Resource Home Show. Both are Realtor®-Salespeople with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Maplewood. Carla is the founder of the blog Inhabit Your Home, “the ultimate guide for the stylish & functional home, because life happens in the place you love,” for which Lisa is the Editorial Director of “Inside Stories,” a section that showcases impactful interior designing and styling. Lisa has also taught yoga locally at Baker Street Yoga in Maplewood and South Mountain Yoga in South Orange since moving to the area in 2011.
